Reflecting on 10 Years of Fulton Street Transformation
VRPA Technologies, Inc. recently attended ”Fulton Street at 10: Vision, Delivery, and Lessons From the Ground”, hosted at the Fresno Council of Governments.
The presentation, “Fulton Mall: Ten Year Retrospective,” was led by Elliott Balch of the Downtown Fresno Partnership, who shared valuable insights from over two decades of leadership in Downtown Fresno’s evolution.
Ten years after breaking ground, Fulton Street stands as a powerful example of how vision and implementation come together over time. The discussion highlighted key successes—from vibrant ArtHop activations to increased pedestrian activity—while also addressing ongoing challenges like vacant storefronts and uneven foot traffic.
Sessions like this remind us that great projects don’t end at construction—they continue to grow, adapt, and shape communities for years to come. We’re excited to see what the next chapter holds for Downtown Fresno.
