Congratulations Clara Corl!
We’re proud to celebrate Clara Corl on two incredible achievements this spring: receiving the Outstanding Student Award from the Department of Geography and City and Regional Planning from California State University, Fresno and graduating next week with her degree in City and Regional Planning 🎉🎓
Clara is an emerging transportation planner with a passion for public transit, walkable communities, and improving quality of life through thoughtful planning. Her path into the planning field was shaped by her experience working as a nursing assistant, where she witnessed firsthand how the built environment can directly impact health, accessibility, and community well-being.
During her time at Fresno State, Clara contributed to several meaningful local initiatives, including:
▪ Supporting the redesign of the Blackstone Corridor in collaboration with Better Blackstone
▪ Contributing to community-driven infill development efforts in the Tower District with South Tower CLT
▪ Coauthoring the Municipal Service Review for the City of Reedley alongside Fresno LAFCo
We are excited to have Clara as part of the VRPA team and look forward to the impact she will continue to make in the planning profession and the communities she serves.
Please join us in congratulating Clara on this well-deserved recognition and her upcoming graduation! 👏✨
