APWA Central California Chapter September Luncheon

APWA Central California Chapter September Luncheon

VRPA Technologies, Inc. was glad to attend the APWA Central California Chapter September Luncheon on “AI Data Centers and Their Implications for the Central Valley.”

Led by Dr. Aly Tawfik (Fresno State Transportation Institute), the discussion explored the kinds of issues that public works professionals need to know about AI- data center growth, including energy, water, land use, transportation, and infrastructure planning.

We were especially proud to have Carolina Ilic, MCP, AICP in attendance, who contributed to the conversation and was asked several questions during the discussion - highlighting VRPA’s active role in these important topics.

A valuable conversation on how public agencies, public works professionals, and planners can prepare for rapid technological change and build more resilient, sustainable communities.
