APA Central California Award of Excellence for the Comprehensive Plan Award

This past Tuesday (6/3), Carolina Ilic had the honor of presenting the APA Central California Award of Excellence for the Comprehensive Plan Award for the City of Tulare Downtown Master Plan, prepared by the City of Tulare and MIG. This plan focuses on five keys to downtown revitalization: Entertain, play, live, work, and eat. Revitalization of downtown Tulare is centered around Zumwalt Park and identifies various catalytic projects to spur implementation. The plan includes economic analysis and pro-formas, and draws from extensive public engagement. Congratulations to the City of Tulare, and particularly to Mario Alberto Anaya and Thomas Gaffery for leading and supporting the effort… Implementation is on its way!
