Merced Regional Multimodal Access Plan (MRMAP)

VRPA's Carolina Ilic, MCP, AICP was pleased to present a list of 18 proposed multimodal projects on November 20th as part of the Merced Regional Multimodal Access Plan (MRMAP) to the Merced County Association of Governments | MCAG Governing Board on November 20, 2025. Merced County Association of Governments I MCAG, VRPA Technologies, Inc., Via Mobility, LLC, Citythinkers, EPS, and ETS have been working on this draft plan for the past year. Proposed projects include one new Express Bus Route, two mobility hubs, four microtransit zones, and 11 active transportation facilities. These projects, including cost estimates and performance measures, were out for public review and the draft and final reports will be taken to the Merced County Association of Governments | MCAG in early 2026.
