Cardenas Transit Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

VRPA was pleased to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Fresno County Rural Transit Agency’s (FCRTA) new Regional Operations and Maintenance Facility, named after the late Mayor David T. Cardenas. The new state-of-the-art Cardenas Transit Center, located in the City of Selma, is a wonderful asset to the entire County of Fresno, enhancing the region’s drive toward sustainability and cleaner air. Funded with federal, state, and local Measure C funds, this new facility provides in-ground charging, a battery storage system, solar bus ports with chargers and a solar field, and 122 electric, natural gas, and fossil fuel transportation vehicles. Congratulations on this tremendous accomplishment, FCRTA!
